On my 2025 Piaggio MP3 320S, I installed the following components recently as I wanted to make sure that when I was out and about on the bike, I could do it safely,
a. Innovv N1 Standard
b. Innovv K7 Dashcam system
c. Innovv Third Eye
d. Innovv Power Hub 3
The issue, though, post installation, I was having awful problems connecting to the K/ because it does not connect to the N1.
Symptoms
- Start bike
- N1 screen would fire up
- After a few seconds, N1 would start car play
- Open Innovv app, try to connect to K7, won’t let me because N1 is overriding the wifi (as both use WIFI to connect).
Solution
Open your wifi on your iPhone. Settings > Wifi > Look for the Innov connection.
At the top of the settings, there will be a radio button; turn it off.
When you start the bike, Innovv won’t try and connect to the wifi.
Now you open the Innovv app.
When you open the Innovv app, it will warn you to connect to the wifi, so in your wifi settings, connect to the available K7 connection.
Then go back to the Innovv app, and you will now be able to see all your videos.
When you have finished viewing/downloading videos with the Innovv K7, just close the app, go back to Wifi and reconnect the N1.
Don’t forget to re-enable the car play settings in the N1 connection, otherwise next time you start your bike, the N1 wont autoconnect.
