With Every Peck The Chicken Gets Fed

I think the phrase “with every peck the chicken gets fed” is a fitting term to describe all those small things in life which over time can add up.

For example someone I know said to me today “I wont do design jobs for less than €250, they are just not worth it, I would rather do jobs for €2500, but there is not many big jobs these days”.

This person was on one hand complaining that the smaller jobs were beneath him and on the other hand moainng about not having enough work.

I responded…..”with every peck the chicken gets fed!”

1. Something is better than nothing
2. If you do many small jobs, then you will, like the chicken get fed

Peck Peck Peck goes the chicken.

We could all learn from that.

I totally agree! I can’t emphasize enough how true this is – “With Every Peck The Chicken Gets Fed.”

Every little detail counts no matter how small they might be. A dollar won’t be a dollar without that last penny.
